I left a management-level position in fine dining restaurant to join WHE and for a number of reasons I have never looked back.
I joined the WHE team over 7 years ago because I needed a position that would allow enough flexibility in my schedule to go back to school to earn my bachelor’s degree. I loved that I could continue my career as a high-level chef while still having time to fulfill my other goals. I left a management-level position in fine dining restaurant to join WHE and for a number of reasons I have never looked back.
1. The fulfillment that comes along with working directly with my clients, getting to know their families and see them enjoy my food is always wonderful.
2. Putting my creativity and knowledge as a chef to use each day! Whether it’s preparing one of my favorite dishes with a few tweaks to suit my client’s needs or designing a unique menu for a special event, I love the creative control that I have.
3. Working with a team of experienced chefs. Being a private chef can often feel very solitary. WHE has done a great job of fostering a team environment where we all brainstorm, come up with fresh ideas and recipes and work together on events.
4. The ongoing training WHE provides in health and nutrition. This has been critical in keeping up to date with the newest diet knowledge and trends in health and wellness that my clients expect me to know.

A personal chef
