Weekly, I make wellness shots for one of my clients and their family. Wellness shots are typically 2-4oz of Anti-inflammatory, immunity boosting fruits, vegetables, oils, herbs and warming spices to improve your everyday health. They are not only immunity boosters, but help in numerous ways including aiding in digestion, energy and blood health. The main ingredients in the wellness shots I use are: Lemon, Ginger, Manuka honey and sometimes Tumeric or pinch of Cayenne. Lemon and Manuka honey together are proven to aid digestion and help with acid-reflex.
Lemon, an acidic fruit when eaten or drank becomes alkaline in your body. Who knew? Lemon neutralizes the acids in your body (balancing out your ph levels) while boosting your immune system. Having an acidic diet can leach calcium from your bones as well as creating an inflamed environment for your body, this in turn will make you more susceptible to illness. Ingredient properties: Citrus: Local, fresh lemon, meyer lemons, pink lemons, tangerines, tangelos, navels- Winter Citrus is alive and in season. Packed with Vitamin C, a good source of fiber, heart healthy and full of potassium. Ginger Root: Contains high anti-inflammatory properties and antioxidants. Ginger can help with muscle soreness, pain and osteoporosis. Also aiding in nausea from morning sickness and chemotherapy treatments. Manuka Honey: Has antiviral, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant benefits. It also has traditionally been used for wound healing, soothing sore throats, preventing tooth decay and improving digestive issues.

My mom has been thinking about getting some wellness shots because she thinks that it could be really useful. Making sure that she can get some help from a professional could allow her to be more effective with the process. I liked what you said about how her acid reflex, and digestion can be helped with lemon, and manuka honey.
