Is This Study Trustworthy?
Everyday we hear the latest on what's good or bad for us. It very hard to understand which side to believe. I will give you an idea of what I look for when deciding the validity of a study.
An often-overlooked part of weight loss struggles is amount and quality of sleep. Are your poor eating habits causing or worsening your sleep or vice versa? Do late nights drive you to the freezer for ice cream or the pantry for a bag of chips or cookies? Do your early mornings cause you to reach for the sugary food and excess coffee? Did you know on equal diets and work out regiments those who sleep 7-9 hour lose more weight than those sleeping less than 7?

Stress makes everything so much harder and no one is immune to it. Stress comes from a variety of issues work, school, illness, current events, and wide range of other issues. Oftentimes, we are dealing with multiple sources at once. It can be overwhelming or running at a low buzz in the background, but rarely are we free of it entirely. This is a major issue! Without managing stress a chemical, called cortisol, will run rampant in your body.
