Chef Shay from a small age was able to experience a variety of different cuisines while traveling with her military family. She is a graduate from The Art Institute of California-Inland empire with a degree in Culinary Arts & in Baking & Pastry. She completed her sport nutrition course at Matthew Kenney Raw & Vegan Culinary School and has completed her certification in July 2016 in Sports nutrition with the International Sports Sciences Association. Currently, she is studying for her bachelor's degree in Business Studies and Hospitality Management at Johnson and Wales University.

Chef Shay has over 6 years of catering experience and has catered at events for Ronald McDonald House, red carpet events, film & TV. She is a professional photographer that specializes in food photography and food styling. She has styled and made food for many commercials and TV shows and films and has been published in many magazines. She was an Executive Pastry Chef at a Popular Italian restaurant in Temecula, Ca.
She was the Head Pastry Chef for the Atlanta Hawks at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, GA. Chef Shay was the executive Chef at the Charlotte Harbor Convention Center in Florida and has cooked for the PGA Tour Championships. She has also taught classes to get culinary students ready for restaurant careers in the kitchen. She has her own greenhouse and is a believer of fresh and local produce. Her culinary flare is Southern, American and Italian cuisines but she is very well rounded with knowledge of cuisines from around the world.

Chef Shay works closely with us in detail on building our weekly menus.  They spend the time to talk to our nutritionist and trainers to make sure they have all the updated information regards to our diet restrictions as well as portion sizes.  The food is always amazing and Chef Shay will make sure I will always have my favorite Meat Balls on the weekly basis.  She always come up with different versions of meat balls that meets my diet. :)
