Growing up in Canada on farms connected to plant and animal agriculture, Brian developed early awareness of how the food we consume impacts both our bodies and the environment. His love of wine blossomed during extensive travel across Italy, where he recognized that wines produced with organic and biodynamic practices often resulted in fewer negative side effects (like headaches or hangovers). This curiosity led him to visit artisan vineyards committed to chemical-free farming. In 2009, Brian launched The Organic Cellar, curating a global portfolio of organic, biodynamic, vegan, and preservative-free wines. Today, The Organic Cellar imports and distributes wines to restaurants, retailers, and wine lovers, all while upholding transparency, ethical sourcing, and quality.
